The Eaton QCF2050 features two threaded steel inserts designed for front mounting through a panel door using No. 6-32 steel screws. It utilizes a cable-in, cable-out feed-thru connection for line and load wiring rather than plugging onto a standard busbar.
What are the recommended terminal torque settings for this breaker?
The required torque for the box lugs varies by wire gauge and is printed directly on the side of the breaker. Standard torque values for Quicklag QC style breakers are typically 20 in-lbs for 14 to 10 AWG, 25 in-lbs for 8 AWG, and 27 in-lbs for 6 to 4 AWG.
What type of wire is compatible with the QCF2050 terminals?
The box lugs accept 14 to 4 AWG wire. For the 50A rating, the terminals are approved for use with either copper or aluminum conductors rated for 60 or 75 degrees Celsius.
Is the QCF2050 suitable for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
