The QCHGFEP1020 is a Ground Fault Equipment Protector (GFEP) with a 30mA trip sensitivity, designed to protect machinery and heat trace systems from equipment damage. Standard GFCI breakers have a 5mA trip sensitivity intended for personnel protection.
How does the QCHGFEP1020 mount inside an enclosure?
This breaker features a unit mount, cable-in/cable-out design. It does not plug or bolt directly onto a panelboard bus. It can be surface mounted or installed on a standard DIN rail using a compatible Eaton adapter.
Can I use this breaker to replace a plug-on or bolt-on Quicklag breaker?
No. The QCHGFEP1020 is a cable-in/cable-out unit mount breaker. If your panel requires a plug-on connection, you need a QPGFEP breaker. If it requires a bolt-on connection, you need a QBGFEP breaker.
How is the neutral connection handled on this breaker?
The QCHGFEP1020 includes a pigtail neutral wire that must be connected to the neutral bar in your panel to ensure the 30mA ground fault equipment protection functions correctly.
Can I use the QCHGFEP1020 in a system requiring a 10kAIC rating?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
