Are UBIF replacement breakers safe to install in existing Federal Pacific panels?
Yes. While original FPE Stab-Lok breakers are known for failure-to-trip issues, the UBIF2100 is a modern replacement manufactured by Connecticut Electric. It is ETL listed to UL Standard 489, ensuring it meets current safety and performance standards for thermal-magnetic protection.
How much panel space is required to install the UBIF2100?
This is an NA-type "thick" breaker, meaning it requires two full 1-inch spaces (2 inches total width) on the busbar. It cannot be installed in panel slots restricted to NC-type "thin" half-inch breakers.
Is the UBIF2100 compatible with other brands of load centers?
No. The UBIF2100 features a specialized Stab-Lok plug-on clip designed exclusively for Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) load centers. It will not fit Zinsco, Pushmatic, or standard interchangeable plug-on panels.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
