The TEC26003 is a Mag-Break device equipped with an instantaneous magnetic-only trip. It provides short-circuit and ground-fault protection but lacks a thermal element for overload protection. Overload duty must be handled by a separate overload relay within a motor starter.
What is the adjustable magnetic trip range for the TEC26003?
The magnetic pickup on this 3A motor circuit protector can be adjusted from 8A to 38A. This allows the instantaneous trip setting to be tuned to the specific locked-rotor inrush characteristics of the motor without causing nuisance tripping.
Which panelboards and enclosures are compatible with the TEC26003?
This unit-mount motor circuit protector is designed for integration into motor control centers, combination motor starters, and GE A-Series or Spectra Series panelboards.
