The TEY370 is designed to mount in GE A-Series lighting panelboards, including the AE and AS types. It features a bolt-on connection that attaches directly to the panel bus.
What do the Long-Time and Instantaneous (LI) functions indicate on this breaker?
The LI trip unit provides two types of protection. The Long-Time (L) function responds to sustained electrical overloads by monitoring thermal conditions, while the Instantaneous (I) function uses magnetic response to trip immediately during a short circuit. On the TEY370, both settings are fixed.
Are there higher interrupting capacity alternatives available for the TEY370?
Yes. If your system requires a higher short circuit rating than the 14kAIC offered by the standard TEY370 at 480/277VAC, you can use the TEYF370 (18kAIC), TEYD370 (25kAIC), TEYH370 (35kAIC), or TEYL370 (65kAIC) models.
What wire types and sizes can be connected to the load terminals?
The factory-installed lugs on the TEY370 accept either copper or aluminum conductors. They are rated for wire sizes ranging from 4 AWG up to 1/0 AWG.

Expedited Shipments
