This bolt-on breaker is designed exclusively for GE A-Series lighting panelboards. It secures directly to the panel bus and will not fit standard residential load centers that require plug-on Q-Line breakers.
What is the difference between the GE TEY115 and the TEYL1015B?
Both are 15-amp, 1-pole breakers that mount in GE A-Series panelboards. However, the TEYL1015B offers a significantly higher interrupting rating of 65kAIC at 277V, compared to the standard TEY115 which is rated at 14kAIC at 277V. Verify your required fault-current rating before substituting.
Can I use this breaker on a 277V commercial lighting circuit?
Yes. The TEYL1015B is rated for systems up to 480Y/277VAC. It is commonly used to protect commercial 277V fluorescent or LED lighting branch circuits in grounded electrical systems.
Does the short-circuit interrupting rating change depending on the system voltage?

The load-side lug accepts 14 AWG to 10 AWG copper conductors, or 12 AWG to 10 AWG aluminum conductors. Always torque the terminal to the manufacturer specifications printed on the side of the breaker.
