What does the L in the TEYL frame designation indicate?
In the GE TEY family of circuit breakers, the suffix letter indicates the short-circuit interrupting tier. The L in TEYL designates the highest tier, providing a 65kA interrupting rating at 480/277V. Other tiers include the standard TEY at 14kA, TEYF at 18kA, TEYD at 25kA, and TEYH at 35kA.
What wire sizes are accepted by the factory-installed lugs on this breaker?
The standard lugs on the TEYL2015B accept wire gauges from 14 AWG to 10 AWG. They are rated for use with both copper and aluminum conductors.
Can the TEYL2015B be used in DC voltage applications?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic breaker is rated for DC applications. It provides an interrupting capacity of 42kA at 125VDC and 20kA at 250VDC.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
