Delivering reliable 5mA personnel protection, this Q-Line GFCI breaker serves residential, commercial, and industrial environments. It safeguards wet or damp locations as required by NEC standards. The bolt-on mounting style ensures a secure connection into GE A-Series panelboards. This specific model is an older generation unit that has since been replaced by the self-testing GFT series. Featuring an internal common trip and HACR rating, it handles 10kA fault currents at 120/240VAC.

Product FAQs
6 answers
What panelboards are compatible with the THQB2115GFI circuit breaker?
This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in GE A-Series panelboards, AQ lighting panels, and ReliaGear RQ panelboards. It is not compatible with standard residential load centers that require plug-on breakers.
What is the difference between GE THQB and THQL circuit breakers?
THQB breakers feature a bolt-on connection designed for commercial panelboards, while THQL breakers use a plug-on connection typically found in residential load centers. They are not interchangeable.
How is the pigtail neutral connected during installation?
The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panelboard neutral bus. This connection is required to power the internal ground fault detection circuitry, even if the connected load does not require a neutral.
Can this 2-pole GFCI breaker protect straight 240V loads without a load neutral?
Yes. When supplying a straight 240V load such as a pump or motor, the two hot wires connect to the breaker load terminals. The breaker pigtail must still connect to the panel neutral bus, but the breaker load neutral lug remains empty.
What level of ground fault protection does this breaker provide?
It provides Class A ground fault protection. The breaker is designed to trip and interrupt the circuit when a ground fault of 5mA (milliamps) or higher is detected, protecting personnel from electrical shock.
Does the THQB2115GFI replace older GE GFCI models?
Yes, this unit serves as a direct replacement for older THQB2115GF models. Newer self-testing versions of this breaker may carry a GFT suffix, such as THQB2115GFT.

Customers say these circuit breakers arrive quickly and work as expected. Many reviews mention fast shipping, with some receiving orders overnight or within days. Users report the breakers fit properly, install easily, and function correctly in both residential and commercial applications. Common feedback includes competitive pricing and good packaging that protects products during shipping. While most praise the ordering process as straightforward, some note occasional issues with missing installation screws or receiving updated product versions instead of pictured models. Several contractors and electricians appreciate having access to hard-to-find or obsolete breakers when local suppliers lack inventory.
