No. GE PowerMark residential load centers require THQL or THQP plug-in breakers. The THQC2130 is a lug-terminal, bolt-on style miniature breaker designed for DIN rail mounting, control enclosures, and specific OEM panels.
How is the THQC2130 secured inside an electrical panel or enclosure?
This model does not plug onto standard panelboard busbars. It utilizes a bolt-on connection and mounts directly to standard 35mm DIN rail systems. It can also be secured using compatible GE Q-Line back mounting plates or front mounting clips depending on your enclosure design.
What type of overcurrent protection does the fixed LI trip unit provide?
The LI designation indicates thermal-magnetic protection with fixed Long-Time and Instantaneous functions. The thermal long-time delay prevents equipment damage from sustained continuous overloads, while the magnetic instantaneous function clears severe short circuits immediately.
Does a fault on one phase disconnect the entire circuit?
Yes. This 2-pole Q-Line breaker includes a factory-installed internal common trip mechanism. An overload or short circuit detected on either phase will force both poles to open simultaneously, preventing single-phasing conditions on connected 240V equipment.

No. Because this breaker carries a slash voltage rating (120/240VAC), the National Electrical Code (NEC) restricts its use to solidly grounded systems where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 120V. It must not be installed on corner-grounded or ungrounded delta configurations.

These breakers matched perfectly for my main AC supplies for my boat. I had the original 43-year-old Chinese (GenFu) breakers that failed and these GEs were a perfect match. My only reservation for not providing a 5-star review is breakers do not arrive in GE's original packaging which can lead to questions whether they are truly "new" breakers. Otherewise, happy I found some that replaced my originals. Thanks SB!
