This thermal-magnetic trip unit includes long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions to protect against overloads and short circuits.
What is the recommended torque for the trip unit screws on the KM3T700?
When securing the trip unit, the screws on the outside poles should be tightened to a torque of 11 to 13 foot-pounds.
How is the breaker mechanism tripped prior to replacing the trip unit?
Remove the breaker cover, then locate and press the metal trip button in the recess on the load side between the center and right poles. This will move the operating handle to the tripped position.
What must be done with the breaker handle during the trip unit removal process?
After tripping the mechanism and removing the anchor screws, hold the breaker handle away from the trip unit to safely extract it from the frame.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
