What is the difference between this GFEP breaker and a standard GFCI breaker?
The LB220-EP is a Ground Fault Protection of Equipment (GFEP) breaker, which trips at a 30mA threshold to protect equipment such as heat tracing or snow melting systems. Standard GFCI breakers trip at a 5mA threshold for personnel protection.
Do I connect the circuit wires directly to the LB220-EP breaker?
No. In Leviton Load Centers, all hot and neutral wires terminate at custom lugs in the panel itself, not on the breaker. This allows the entire panel to be wired at rough-in before the plug-on breakers are installed.
How can I tell why the LB220-EP breaker tripped?
This breaker features built-in LED indicators that communicate the trip condition and the specific type of fault. The LEDs remain illuminated even when the breaker is in the tripped position to simplify diagnostics.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
