This E-frame breaker is designed exclusively for legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. It features a bolt-on connection that matches the NEHB bus structure and will not fit in newer NF or NQ series panelboards.
What does the -1082 suffix indicate on this Square D breaker?
The -1082 catalog suffix designates a factory-installed shunt trip accessory. This allows the breaker to be opened remotely using a control voltage signal, making it ideal for emergency shutdown circuits or automated building controls.
Is the EHB series still in active production?
No, the Square D EHB series is obsolete and has been replaced by the EDB series. However, because EDB breakers require an NF panelboard, this exact EHB34050-1082 replacement is necessary if you are maintaining an existing NEHB panelboard.
Can the EHB34050-1082 be installed on a 480V Delta electrical system?
No. Because it carries a slash voltage rating of 480Y/277V, it is only approved for use on solidly grounded Wye systems where the voltage to ground does not exceed 277V. It cannot be used on ungrounded or corner-grounded 480V Delta systems.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
