What is the trip curve for the M9F21210 circuit breaker?
This breaker features a B trip curve. It is designed with a magnetic tripping limit of 4 times the rated current for AC networks, making it ideal for protecting resistive loads or sensitive equipment with low inrush currents.
Is the Schneider Electric M9F21210 suitable for branch circuit protection?
No. The M9F21210 is a UL 1077 recognized supplementary protector. It is intended to provide additional protection within appliances or electrical equipment and cannot be used as a primary branch circuit breaker, which requires a UL 489 listing.
How much space does the M9F21210 require on a DIN rail?
This 2-pole miniature circuit breaker occupies 4 standard 9mm pitches, taking up a total width of 36mm (1.42 inches) on a standard 35mm DIN rail.
Does the M9F21210 include built-in earth leakage protection?
No. This thermal magnetic circuit breaker is designed to protect against short circuits and overloads. It does not provide earth leakage or ground fault protection.
Can I install electrical auxiliaries on the M9F21210?
Yes. The Multi9 C60SP series supports the addition of electrical auxiliaries, allowing you to integrate accessories such as fault indication contacts, auxiliary switches, or shunt trips for remote control and status monitoring.
What is the operating temperature range for the M9F21210?
This circuit breaker is rated for an operating temperature range of -22 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit (-30 to 70 degrees Celsius), making it suitable for a variety of demanding industrial environments.
