6 answersCan I install the Siemens B350 in a standard residential load center?
No. This is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed exclusively for commercial Siemens P1 panelboards. Standard residential load centers typically require plug-on breakers and will not accept this bolt-on mounting style.
Are the trip settings on the B350 adjustable for specific equipment loads?
No. The thermal-magnetic trip unit features fixed thermal (long-time) and fixed magnetic (instantaneous) settings. You cannot field-adjust the trip curves on this particular model.
Do I need separate hardware to connect aluminum wiring to this breaker?
No additional lug hardware is needed. The factory-installed load side lugs are rated for both copper and aluminum conductors. You can directly terminate 8 to 6 AWG copper or 8 to 4 AWG aluminum wire.
Is the B350 part of the Siemens BL frame family?
Yes. Although the catalog number starts with a B, it is classified as a BL type molded case circuit breaker and utilizes the standard 125A maximum BL frame size.
Can the B350 directly replace a GE THQB32050 or Square D QOB350?
While it matches the electrical specifications of 50A bolt-on configurations like the THQB32050, QOB350, and BAB3050, it is not physically interchangeable. The busbar bolt spacing differs across manufacturers, so you must install this breaker only in compatible Siemens panelboards.
Does this 50A breaker provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. The B350 provides standard thermal-magnetic overcurrent and short-circuit protection. It does not include ground fault (GFCI) or arc fault (AFCI) sensing electronics.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
