Description
Part of the Siemens Sentron family, the CQD260 is a 2-pole, 60A molded case circuit breaker. Built for commercial use, it utilizes a compact 1-inch per pole frame. It mounts onto standard 35mm DIN rails or surfaces in OEM panels. The cable-in/cable-out design accepts 8-1 AWG copper or 6-1/0 AWG aluminum wire. Rated for 65kAIC at 240V and 14kAIC at 480Y/277V, it delivers reliable thermal-magnetic protection. The unit is HACR rated and reverse feed capable.Specifications

6 answersHow does the CQD260 differ from the BQD260 circuit breaker?
While both share the same internal components and dimensions, the CQD260 is designed for independent mounting on 35mm DIN rail and includes both line and load side lugs. The BQD260 is a bolt-on breaker intended for Siemens panelboards and only includes load side lugs.
Can the CQD260 be reverse fed?
Yes. Because this breaker uses a non-interchangeable thermal magnetic trip unit, it is UL listed for reverse feed applications in control panels.
Is the CQD260 breaker HACR rated?
Yes, Siemens CQD frame breakers in this amperage range carry a Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HACR) rating, making them suitable for HVAC equipment protection.
Can I install this breaker in a residential Siemens load center?
No. This model is engineered strictly for DIN rail or surface mounting within OEM enclosures and industrial control panels. It is not physically compatible with standard residential load centers.
Does this breaker feature adjustable trip settings?
No. The internal thermal and magnetic trip elements are completely fixed. While it provides Long-Time and Instantaneous protection, neither parameter can be adjusted in the field.
What temperature rating applies to the factory installed lugs?
The mechanical line and load lugs included with this CQD series breaker are UL listed for use with 60 or 75 degree Celsius copper or aluminum conductors.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
