Yes. Siemens introduced the QR frame to replace the legacy QJ frame. The HQR23B250 shares the same form factor and mounting as older 250A 3-pole QJ breakers, making it a direct replacement for panelboard upgrades.
What is the difference between the QR23B250 and the HQR23B250?
The difference is the interrupting rating. The standard QR23B250 is rated for 10kA at 240V, while the HQR23B250 is the high-interrupting version rated for 65kA at 240V.
What is the recommended lug torque for the HQR23B250?
For 2/0 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire, torque the lugs to 225 in-lb. For smaller 3 AWG to 1/0 AWG wire, the required torque is 100 in-lb.
Which panelboards are compatible with the HQR23B250?
This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in Siemens P1, P2, and P3 panelboards, as well as compatible Siemens switchboards and meter centers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
