No. Standard JXD6 frame circuit breakers do not include lugs from the factory [1.3.1]. If you require standard aluminum body lugs, you must order lug kits (such as TA2J6500) separately, or specify a catalog number with an "L" suffix (JXD63B400L) for factory-installed lugs.
What is the conductor capacity of the standard TA2J6500 lug kit used with this JD frame breaker?
When equipped with TA2J6500 lugs, each phase can accept up to two parallel conductors. The supported wire range is 3/0 AWG to 500 kcmil for copper wire, and 4/0 AWG to 500 kcmil for aluminum wire.
Are the trip units on the JXD63B400 interchangeable?
No. The "X" in the JXD frame designation signifies a factory-assembled, non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit. If your application requires an interchangeable trip unit for future rating adjustments, you will need a standard JD6 frame circuit breaker.
Can the JXD63B400 be used in a reverse-feed installation?
Yes. Because it features a non-interchangeable trip unit, the JXD63B400 complies with UL 489 and CSA C22.2 No. 5 standards for reverse feeding. Standard JD6 models with interchangeable trips are not rated for reverse-feed configurations.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
