What level of ground fault protection does the MP215GF provide?
This breaker provides Class A ground fault protection, meaning it is designed to trip when it detects a ground fault of 5mA. This meets NEC requirements for personnel protection in wet locations.
How is the neutral connection wired on the MP215GF?
This breaker features a standard pigtail neutral. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the load center's neutral bus bar to ensure the GFCI circuitry functions correctly.
How do I wire this 2-pole GFCI breaker if my 240V load does not use a neutral wire?
For straight 240V loads that do not require a neutral, leave the load neutral terminal on the breaker empty. However, you must still connect the breaker's coiled white pigtail wire to the panel's neutral bus bar for the GFCI circuitry to function.
