What is the difference between the MPD2175 and the MPD2175KH?
The standard MPD2175 has a 10kA interrupting rating. The MPD2175KH features a higher 22kA interrupting rating, which is indicated by the KH suffix in the catalog number.
What wire sizes are compatible with the lugs on this 175A breaker?
The lugs accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil wire. They are rated for use with both copper and aluminum conductors.
Is the MPD2175KH designed for main or branch circuit applications?
This is a plug-in main breaker. It is designed to protect the entire electrical distribution panel rather than individual branch circuits.
Does this breaker provide ground-fault or arc-fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker that provides long-time and instantaneous trip functions for overload and short-circuit protection. It does not include GFCI or AFCI circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
