Engineered for personnel safety, the Siemens P115GF delivers reliable ground-fault protection for 120V applications. This 15A single-pole breaker guards against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. Designed for classic Pushmatic load centers, it features a secure bolt-on connection. It serves as an exact replacement for older Gould, Bulldog, and ITE Pushmatic breakers. Rated at 10 kAIC, it includes signature push-button actuation and meets UL 943 standards for wet or damp locations.
What load centers are compatible with the Siemens P115GF circuit breaker?
The Siemens P115GF is designed exclusively for use in classic Pushmatic load centers. It features a bolt-on connection specific to these legacy panels.
Can the Siemens P115GF replace older Pushmatic GFCI breakers?
Yes, the Siemens P115GF serves as a direct, drop-in replacement for discontinued 15-amp Pushmatic GFCI breakers originally manufactured by Gould, Bulldog, and ITE.
How does the Siemens P115GF connect to the panel?
This breaker utilizes a bolt-on mounting style to secure directly to the bus bar in Pushmatic load centers. It also includes a pigtail neutral wire that must be connected to the panel's neutral bar for the ground-fault protection to function properly.
What type of protection does the P115GF provide?
The P115GF provides standard thermal-magnetic protection against overloads and short circuits, plus integrated ground-fault circuit interruption (GFCI) to protect personnel from electrical shock.
What wire sizes are accepted by the terminals on the P115GF?
When wiring the P115GF, the screw and clamp terminals accept copper or aluminum conductors ranging from 14 AWG to 8 AWG. Ensure proper torque is applied during installation.
How do I operate or reset the Siemens P115GF?
Like all Pushmatic breakers, the P115GF features a unique push-button actuation rather than a traditional toggle switch. Press the button to manually open or close the circuit, or to reset the breaker after a trip.
Is the P115GF suitable for systems requiring a high interrupting rating?
No, the P115GF has a standard interrupting capacity of 10kA at 120VAC. This rating is standard for the residential and light commercial applications where legacy Pushmatic load centers are typically found, but it is not suitable for systems requiring higher fault current protection.

Review summary

I needed some filler plates for an older breaker panel. Not available at any retail places I could find, thankfully Superbreakers had them. A couple minor issues: they didn't include the size specifications (L x W x D) online, which would have helped confirm they were the right fit; and they included an unrelated picture (along with the right one).
But the online order processing was easy-to-use and had all the info needed (especially the shipping options/costs, and the return policy). They also stuck to their word about getting it out in 24 hours. It arrived via UPS Ground in a respectful 5 days. They of course fit the panel and all is well.
Overall, very pleased with the company.

The part was correct,, but
The part was correct,, but I was shocked when the cheapest (ground) shipping was almost as much as the part that only weighed 8 ounces. The part was $14.03 and the shipping was almost $13.00.

Happy with my Purchase
This is the 4th time I have used SuperBreakers and have been happy with my purchase every time. I have an old style style system in my house and the company I was using told me the old style breakers were impossible to find and charged me $80 each. Next time I needed one I found SuperBreakers had them for $15 each. I am no longer using that electrical company.
