Yes. Siemens phased out the Murray brand and designates Siemens Type QP breakers, including the Q130, as the officially UL listed direct replacement for legacy Murray Type MP or MP-T breakers.
Is the Siemens Q130 breaker HACR rated?
Yes, this circuit breaker is HACR rated. It is approved for overcurrent protection on dedicated heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment circuits that require HACR type breakers.
Which panelboards are compatible with the Siemens Q130 breaker?
This 1-inch plug-on breaker is designed for current Siemens PL and ES series load centers. It is also backward compatible with legacy ITE, Gould, and Siemens EQ load centers that accept Type QP breakers.
Can this 120V single pole breaker be installed in a 3-phase panel?
Yes. A single pole Q130 breaker can be installed in either a single phase or 3-phase Siemens load center to feed standard 120V single phase branch circuits, provided the panel accepts Type QP breakers.
What does the Insta-Wire feature mean on Siemens QP circuit breakers?
Insta-Wire means the terminal load lugs are shipped from the factory with the screws already backed out. This allows the electrician to insert the conductor immediately, saving installation time.
Are Siemens Type QP breakers interchangeable with Square D or Eaton panels?
No. Although the 1-inch footprint is similar, Siemens Type QP breakers are not UL listed for use in Square D Homeline or Eaton BR load centers. They must only be installed in approved Siemens, Murray, ITE, or Gould panelboards.
Can I use a handle tie to connect two Q130 breakers for a multi-wire branch circuit?
Yes. Two adjacent Q130 single pole breakers can be linked using a Siemens ECQTH3 handle tie to provide simultaneous manual switching. Note that handle ties do not provide an internal common trip mechanism between the separate breakers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
