This tandem breaker installs into a single 1-inch panel space while providing two independent 15-amp circuits.
Can the Q1515 tandem breaker be used to power a 240V load?
No. Both poles of this tandem breaker connect to the same bus stab, providing two separate 120V circuits on the same phase. To power a 240V load, you need a standard 2-pole breaker that connects across two alternating bus stabs.
Will this breaker fit into any slot in my Siemens load center?
The Q1515 is a CTL (Circuit Total Limiting) breaker, which means it features a rejection clip. It will only physically seat into slots specifically notched to accept tandem breakers within CTL-compliant load centers.
What is the non-CTL equivalent for older ITE or Siemens panels?
If you have an older, pre-1968 non-CTL load center, you will need the Siemens Q1515NC. That version lacks the rejection clip found on this standard Q1515 model, allowing it to fit into older panel busbar designs.
Does the Q1515 provide GFCI or AFCI protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker providing short-circuit and overload protection. It does not include Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) functionality.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
