This breaker is designed specifically for use as a main breaker in Siemens load centers and multi-family metering panels that accept Type QPP breakers. It is not intended for use as a standard branch breaker.
Can the Q2175B be installed in non-Siemens electrical panels?
No. This breaker is UL listed exclusively for use in compatible Siemens enclosures. Installing it in panels from other manufacturers violates its UL listing and electrical safety codes.
How many panel spaces does the Q2175B occupy?
This Type QPP main breaker requires four standard 1-inch spaces for installation in a compatible Siemens load center.
Can I use the Q2175B in a panel that requires a QN frame breaker?
No. While the Q2175B is a 175A main breaker, it utilizes a QPP frame. Newer Siemens panel configurations requiring a QN frame mounting must use the QN2175 instead, as the two frame types mount differently.
Does this main breaker include ground-fault or arc-fault protection?
No. The Q2175B features standard thermal-magnetic trip technology for overload and short-circuit protection. It does not provide GFCI or AFCI capabilities.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
