No. The Q22050CT2 is a Circuit Total Limiting (CTL) breaker equipped with a rejection clip. It can only be installed in Siemens or Murray load centers specifically notched to accept tandem or quadplex breakers.
How are the 20A and 50A circuits configured on this quad breaker?
The Q22050CT2 features a 50A double-pole circuit on the inner two positions and a 20A double-pole circuit on the outer two positions.
Are the wire lugs the same size for both the 20A and 50A circuits?
No. The outer 20A poles accept 14-6 AWG copper or 12-6 AWG aluminum wire, while the inner 50A poles require larger 8-6 AWG copper or 8-4 AWG aluminum wire.
Do the 240V circuits on the Q22050CT2 feature common trip?
Yes. Both the inner 50A and outer 20A double-pole circuits have internal common trip mechanisms. If one leg of either 240V circuit experiences a fault, both legs of that specific circuit will trip simultaneously.
Can this breaker be used to replace older Murray quad breakers?
Yes. Siemens acquired Murray, and the Q22050CT2 is UL listed as a direct replacement for discontinued Murray 20/50A quad breakers, such as the MP22050CT2.
How much panel space does the Q22050CT2 require?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
