The Q24000S01 includes a factory-installed 120VAC shunt trip mechanism. This allows the breaker to be tripped remotely for emergency shutdowns or specialized control applications.
How is the shunt trip wired on this Siemens breaker?
The shunt trip requires a separate 120V control signal. When voltage is applied to the shunt trip coil via the attached pigtail leads, it mechanically forces the breaker to trip and open the circuit.
Will this plug-on breaker fit in older I-T-E load centers?
Yes, Siemens Type QP breakers are backwards compatible with older I-T-E load centers that specify Type QP or EQ-P breakers on the panel label.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
