Can I use the Q3100 to replace a Murray MP3100?
Yes. Siemens has phased out the Murray brand, and the Q3100 is the official replacement for the discontinued Murray MP3100 3-pole breaker.
How many panel spaces does this 3-pole breaker require?
The Q3100 requires three full 1-inch spaces in your panel.
Is the Q3100 rated for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment?
Yes. This breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for protecting heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration circuits.
Can I install this 3-pole breaker in a standard residential single-phase panel?
No. The Q3100 is a 3-pole breaker designed for 3-phase systems. It will not fit or function correctly in a standard 120/240V single-phase residential panel.

No external handle tie is needed. It features a factory-built common trip mechanism that ensures all three poles trip simultaneously during a fault.
Which load centers are compatible with the Q3100?

Can the Q3100 be reverse-fed for use as a main breaker?
Yes. Standard Siemens QP breakers do not have line and load markings and can be back-fed. When used as a back-fed main, you must install an approved breaker hold-down clip to secure it to the panel per NEC requirements.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
