The Q315H is a Type QPH breaker designed for use in Siemens PL, ES, and SN series load centers, as well as legacy EQ series panels and compatible Siemens panelboards that accept plug-on QP or QPH breakers.
What is the difference between the Siemens Q315 and the Q315H?
The difference lies in the short-circuit interrupting rating. The standard Q315 has a 10kAIC rating, whereas the Q315H features a high interrupting rating of 22kAIC at 240V AC.
How much panel space does the Q315H require?
As a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker, the Q315H requires three standard 1-inch spaces, taking up a total of 3 inches on the panel busbar.
Can I install the Q315H in an Eaton or Square D panel?
No. Siemens QPH breakers are not interchangeable with Eaton or Square D panels. Mixing breaker brands compromises the electrical system's safety and voids the UL listing unless a specific UL-classified cross-reference is explicitly approved for your exact panel.
Can the Q315H replace older ITE or Murray breakers?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
