Can the Q335 replace older Murray circuit breakers?
Yes. Siemens has retired the Murray brand, and the Q335 is the direct, UL listed replacement for the legacy Murray MP335 (Type MP-T) 3-pole 35A breaker.
Is the Siemens Q335 suitable for HVAC equipment?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment that requires a 35A overcurrent protection device.
What are the lug torque specifications for the Q335?
For the Q335 lug terminals, Siemens specifies a tightening torque of 40 lb-in for 8 AWG wire and 45 lb-in for 6 AWG to 4 AWG wire. Always verify with the label on the physical breaker before installation.
Do I need a retainer clip if using the Q335 as a main breaker?
Yes. If you are back-feeding the Q335 to use it as a main breaker in a load center, the National Electrical Code requires a hold-down kit. You will need the Siemens ECMBR3 retainer clip designed for 3-pole Type QP breakers.
Can I install this 3-pole breaker in a single-phase panel?
No. The Q335 is a 3-pole breaker that requires three separate bus stabs. It is strictly for use in 3-phase load centers and panelboards.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
