The EGB24025 is designed specifically for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It features a bolt-on mounting style that connects directly to the panelboard bus.
Can the EGB24025 be used on a straight 480V delta electrical system?
No. The EGB24025 has a slash voltage rating of 480Y/277VAC. It is only approved for use on solidly grounded wye systems where the nominal voltage to ground does not exceed 277V. It must not be installed on ungrounded, corner-grounded, or impedance-grounded 480V delta systems.
What is the recommended lug torque for the EGB24025?
The load lugs on the EGB24025 should be torqued to 30 lbf-in (3.4 N.m) for 14 to 6 AWG copper or aluminum wire.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB circuit breakers?
These E-frame breakers share the same physical dimensions and fit the same NF panelboards, but they feature different interrupting ratings. At 480Y/277VAC, the EDB is rated at 18kAIC, the EGB is rated at 35kAIC, and the EJB is rated at 65kAIC.
Do I need to purchase a separate mounting kit to install the EGB24025?
No separate mounting hardware is required for standard installation. The breaker includes captive mounting screws to bolt directly to the NF panelboard bus.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
