Yes, the FA frame is a legacy product and is no longer manufactured by Square D. It remains available as a drop-in replacement for existing I-Line panels. For modern retrofits or new systems, the PowerPact B-frame, specifically the BDA34030Y, is the current replacement.
What are the magnetic trip settings for the FA32030?
This breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. For the 30A FA frame, the magnetic hold setting is 275A and the magnetic trip setting is 600A.
Which lug kit is standard for the FA32030?
The standard load-side lug kit for 15A to 30A FA frame breakers is the AL50FA. This lug kit accepts 14-4 AWG copper or 12-4 AWG aluminum conductors.
Can the FA32030 be installed in standard residential load centers?
No. The FA32030 features an I-Line plug-on mounting style. It is exclusively designed for commercial and industrial Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards, and will not fit in QO or Homeline load centers.

Expedited Shipments

The Square D FA32100 circuit breaker (refurbished) was as good as a new breaker, without exception. There was no wear and tear or any marks at all. It was basically new. It is an excellent choice and a great product without having to pay the cost of a new breaker.
