This legacy F-Frame breaker is designed exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in standard NQ, NF, or QO load centers.
How is the FAB36080 installed into an I-Line panel?
It features a plug-on I-Line connection on the line side that attaches directly to the panelboard bus, combined with bolted lug connections on the load side.
What is the modern replacement for the FAB36080?
For modern panel upgrades, the Square D PowerPact BDA36080 is the direct replacement. It provides the same 80A capacity and I-Line mounting in an updated B-Frame design.
What wire sizes are compatible with the load side lugs?
The factory-installed AL100FA lugs accept 14 to 1/0 AWG copper wire, or 12 to 1/0 AWG aluminum wire.
What type of protection does the LI trip function provide?
The fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit delivers long-time (L) thermal protection to prevent equipment overloads, and instantaneous (I) magnetic protection to quickly clear short circuits.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
