The FAL22050 is a unit-mount F-Frame breaker designed for legacy Square D enclosures, switchboards, and panelboards. Because it is a feed-thru breaker, it requires hardwired connections on both the line and load sides and will not plug into an I-Line bus.
Can the FAL22050 be used in DC applications?
Yes, in addition to its 240VAC rating, this breaker is rated for 250VDC systems with a 5kAIC interrupting capacity. This makes it suitable for specific industrial DC control panels and battery systems.
What are the wire size limits for the FAL22050 terminals?
The standard mechanical lugs accept 14 to 1/0 AWG copper conductors or 12 to 1/0 AWG aluminum conductors. Ensure all connections are tightened to the torque values specified on the breaker faceplate using a calibrated torque tool.
Is the Square D F-Frame series obsolete?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
