The FAL32090 is a legacy F-frame circuit breaker that has been discontinued by Schneider Electric. The designated modern replacement is the PowerPact B-frame series, which offers updated accessories and increased capacity for retrofit applications.
Which lug kit is standard for the FAL32090 circuit breaker?
The standard mechanical lug kit for this 90A F-frame breaker is the AL100FA. It accepts 14 to 1/0 AWG copper or 12 to 1/0 AWG aluminum wire.
Can I install the FAL32090 in an I-Line panelboard?
No. The FAL32090 is a unit-mount, feed-thru circuit breaker designed for standard enclosures, switchboards, and control panels. It does not have the plug-on jaw connections required for Square D I-Line panelboards.
Can the FAL32090 be used in DC power systems?
Yes. In addition to its 240VAC rating, this breaker is rated for 250VDC applications with an interrupting capacity of 5kAIC.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the FAL32090?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time thermal and instantaneous magnetic trip functions are factory-set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Expedited Shipments
