Yes. Square D thermal magnetic F-frame circuit breakers without specific Line and Load markings can be safely reverse-fed.
Is the Square D FAL36030 circuit breaker obsolete?
Yes. Schneider Electric officially ended commercialization of the F-frame series in June 2023. The PowerPacT B-frame, specifically catalog number BDL36030, is the manufacturer-recommended replacement. Note that retrofitting a B-frame into an existing F-frame footprint may require different mounting hardware.
What are the wire size and torque specifications for the FAL36030 lugs?
The standard factory lugs accept 14 to 4 AWG copper wire or 12 to 4 AWG aluminum wire. The required tightening torque for stranded conductors is 35 lb-in (4 N-m).
Can this breaker be installed in an I-Line panelboard?
No. The FAL36030 is a unit-mount, feed-thru circuit breaker equipped with lugs on both ends. It does not feature the plug-on jaw connections required to mount directly onto a Square D I-Line bus.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the FAL36030?
No. This breaker is equipped with a fixed thermal magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions are factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
