Description
Built for industrial applications, the FAP36080 delivers 80A of thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection across three phases. It operates reliably up to 600VAC and includes standard long-time and instantaneous trip functions. The bolt-on configuration mounts securely into Square D panelboards and motor control centers. It can be replaced by the newer PowerPacT H-Frame (HJP36080). With an 18 kAIC rating at 480VAC, this breaker includes the Visi-Trip visual indicator.Specifications

The FAP36080 is a unit-mount, bolt-on circuit breaker. It is designed to be hard-mounted to a backpan or mounting plate using screws, and cables are terminated directly to the feed-thru lugs. It does not plug onto a busbar.
Is the FAP36080 suitable for direct current (DC) systems?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic breaker is rated for both AC and DC systems. It can handle up to 250VDC with a maximum interrupting capacity of 10kA, making it suitable for specific industrial DC control panels.
What wire sizes are accepted by the factory lugs on the FAP36080?
The included feed-thru lugs accept conductors from 14 AWG up to 1/0 AWG. Both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) wires are compatible. Always ensure the lugs are torqued to the manufacturer specifications printed on the breaker.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the FAP36080?
No, the FAP36080 features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short-circuit) trip functions are factory-set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
