8 answersWhat is the tightening torque for the standard lugs on the HDL26125?
The included AL150HD mechanical lugs require a 3/16 inch Allen wrench. The tightening torque is 44.3 lb-in (5 N.m) for 14 to 10 AWG wire, and 124 lb-in (14 N.m) for 8 to 3/0 AWG wire.
Can the HDL26125 be reverse fed?
Yes. Standard unit mount PowerPacT H-Frame breakers with thermal magnetic trip units have sealed trip units and are suitable for reverse feeding.
What is the I-Line equivalent for this unit mount breaker?
For an I-Line panelboard application, the equivalent plug-on circuit breaker is the HDA26125.
Is this breaker a direct replacement for older Square D models?
The PowerPacT H-Frame series serves as the official upgrade path for discontinued K-Frame KAL26125 breakers. However, because the frame sizes differ, a retrofit is required for installation.
Is the HDL26125 rated for 100 percent continuous current?
No. This model is a standard 80 percent rated circuit breaker.
Can this breaker be mounted on a DIN rail?
Yes, but it requires a separate DIN rail mounting adapter accessory. Out of the box, it is configured for standard unit mounting to a backpan.
What do the letters in the HDL26125 part number signify?
H denotes the PowerPacT H-Frame. D indicates the interrupting capacity tier. L specifies that the breaker is unit mounted with mechanical lugs on both the line and load sides.
Does this breaker have an adjustable trip unit?
No. It features a thermal magnetic trip unit with fixed long-time and fixed instantaneous protection settings. The magnetic hold current is 900A and the magnetic tripping current is 1700A.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
