It is a unit mount PowerPacT H-Frame breaker designed for industrial control panels, switchboards, and industrial enclosures. It does not plug into I-Line panelboards.
What lug kit is standard for this breaker?
The standard mechanical lug kit is the AL150HD, which accepts 14 AWG to 3/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire.
What is the required torque for the AL150HD lugs?
Torque specifications depend on the wire size. For 14 to 10 AWG wire, torque to 44.3 lb-in (5 N.m). For 8 to 3/0 AWG wire, torque to 124 lb-in (14 N.m).
What tool is required to tighten the standard lugs?
The AL150HD lugs require a 3/16 inch Allen wrench for proper tightening of the wire binding screws.
Can the HDL26150 be reverse fed?
Yes. Standard unit mount PowerPacT H-Frame circuit breakers with thermal magnetic trip units can be reverse fed.
What does the D in HDL26150 stand for?
The D indicates the interrupting rating. For this H-Frame breaker, the D rating provides 25kA at 240VAC, 18kA at 480VAC, and 14kA at 600VAC.
What is the difference between the HDL26150 and HGL26150?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The HDL has a standard D rating, while the HGL features a higher G interrupting rating. Both share the same physical footprint and 150A capacity.
Does this breaker include a push-to-trip button?
Yes, PowerPacT H-Frame circuit breakers feature an integral push-to-trip button on the cover to manually trip the breaker and verify the mechanical operation.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
