Unit mount means the breaker is designed to be fastened directly to a backpan or enclosure using screws, rather than plugging onto a busway. It uses mechanical lugs on both the line and load sides for wire connections.
Can the HGL26045 be installed in a Square D I-Line panelboard?
No, the HGL series is strictly for unit mount applications. For an I-Line panelboard, you need an HGA, HJA, or HLA series breaker which includes the required plug-on bracket.
Is the HGL26045 a direct replacement for older F-frame breakers?
The PowerPacT H-frame HGL26045 is the modern replacement for legacy FAL26045 and FHL26045 breakers. Because the physical dimensions differ slightly from the older F-frame, verify your enclosure space and mounting hardware before upgrading.
Can the HGL26045 be reverse fed?
Yes, standard unit-mount PowerPacT H-frame breakers with fixed thermal-magnetic trip units can be reverse fed. Always verify the faceplate to ensure there are no specific Line and Load markings before reverse feeding.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
