It is designed specifically for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. The breaker uses a plug-on I-Line connection for the line side and includes lugs for the load side.
What is the modern replacement for the IF36025 circuit breaker?
The IF-frame is a legacy model. For new installations or direct upgrades, the modern equivalent is the Square D PowerPact HRA36025, which matches the 25A capacity, I-Line mounting, and 200kAIC rating at 480VAC.
How does the I-Limiter feature on the IF36025 work?
As a current-limiting breaker, it clears high-level faults extremely fast, restricting the peak let-through current and energy. This provides enhanced protection for downstream circuits and allows it to be used in series-rated systems.
What wire sizes are compatible with the IF36025 load lugs?
The factory-installed lugs accept 14 AWG to 4 AWG copper wire, or 12 AWG to 4 AWG aluminum wire. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation as labeled on the breaker.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
