Is the magnetic trip range adjustable on this breaker?
Yes. While the 225A thermal long-time function is fixed, the instantaneous magnetic trip function is adjustable between 1125A and 2250A to allow for selective coordination.
Is this circuit breaker rated for 100 percent continuous duty?
No, the JDP36225 carries a standard 80 percent continuous current rating. For continuous loads lasting three hours or more, the maximum draw must not exceed 180 amps.
How is the JDP36225 mounted and wired?
This is a unit-mount breaker that bolts directly to a backpan or mounting plate rather than clipping onto a busbar. It includes mechanical lugs on both the line and load sides that accept one 3/0 AWG to 350 kcmil aluminum or copper conductor per phase.

Expedited Shipments
