The JJL36175 is a unit-mount circuit breaker with feed-thru lugs on both the line and load sides. The JJA36175 is the I-Line version, designed to plug directly into an I-Line panelboard bus on the line side.
What is the recommended lug torque for the JJL36175?
The standard AL175JD lugs on this breaker should be torqued to 221 lb-in (25 N.m) for 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire.
Can the JJL36175 be reverse fed?
Yes. PowerPacT J-Frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers with factory-sealed trip units, like the JJL36175, are suitable for reverse feeding.
How do I adjust the trip settings on the JJL36175?
This breaker features a thermal-magnetic trip unit with a fixed thermal (long-time) setting of 175A and an adjustable magnetic (instantaneous) trip dial on the front of the breaker. The magnetic trip can be set between 875A and 1750A.
What enclosures or panels are compatible with the JJL36175?
This unit-mount breaker is designed for use in Square D J-Frame enclosures, switchboards, and motor control centers that accept feed-thru lug configurations. It will not fit in I-Line panelboards.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
