This breaker is designed specifically for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It uses an I-Line style plug-on connection and will not fit in standard unit-mount enclosures or load centers.
Is the Q232125 obsolete, and what is the current replacement?
Yes, the legacy Q2 series has been superseded by the PowerPact Q-Frame series. The direct modern replacement is the QBA32125, which shares the same 10kAIC rating. The QDA32125 is also a compatible substitute if a higher 25kAIC rating is needed.
Does the legacy Q2 frame share the same footprint as modern PowerPact breakers?
Yes. The Q232125 has the same physical dimensions and I-Line mounting configuration as the current PowerPact Q-Frame series. This allows for a direct drop-in replacement within existing panelboards without modifying the bus structure.
What wire sizes are accepted by the terminals on the Q232125?
The factory lugs accept wire gauges from 4 AWG up to 300 kcmil. The terminals are rated for use with both copper and aluminum (Al/Cu) conductors.
What type of trip unit is installed in the Q232125?
It features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. This provides standard long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions for reliable overload and short-circuit protection.
Can the Q232125 be installed in a QO or Homeline residential load center?
No. This is a Q-Frame molded case circuit breaker with an I-Line plug-in mounting style. It is strictly for commercial and industrial I-Line panelboards and is not compatible with residential QO or Homeline enclosures.
Does the Q232125 provide equipment ground fault protection (EGFP)?
No. This breaker is equipped with a standard thermal-magnetic trip unit for overcurrent and short-circuit protection only. It does not offer ground fault or arc fault protection capabilities.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
