This bolt-on breaker is compatible with legacy Sylvania, Challenger, and Westinghouse panelboards. It also fits modern Eaton F-Frame panelboards.
What is the modern Eaton equivalent for the SEH3C070?
The Eaton EHD3070 is a direct modern substitute. Because Eaton acquired the F-Frame product line, the EHD3070 shares the exact same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting configuration as the legacy Sylvania SEH3C070.
What wire sizes and materials are approved for the SEH3C070 lugs?
The standard lugs accept wire gauges from 14 AWG up to 1/0 AWG and are rated for both aluminum and copper conductors.
How does the interrupting rating change when used on a 240V system?
The breaker is rated for 14kAIC at its maximum 480VAC. However, when installed on a 240VAC system, the interrupting capacity increases to 18kAIC.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the SEH3C070?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time and instantaneous trip functions are factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does this breaker require specific mounting hardware?
Yes, as a bolt-on breaker, it must be mechanically fastened to the panelboard bus. It does not snap into place like residential plug-on breakers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
