Yes. The JB3175 is an exact substitute for JD3175 units in compatible panelboards. It has also been succeeded by the newer JDB3175 catalog number, which can be used as a direct replacement.
How do I set the adjustable magnetic trip on the JB3175?
The magnetic trip dial allows you to adjust the instantaneous short-circuit pickup from 5 to 10 times the continuous amp rating. For this 175A breaker, the trip range can be set anywhere between 875A and 1750A to coordinate with downstream devices.
What type of wire connections does the JB3175 support?
The breaker includes feed-thru lug terminals that accept either copper or aluminum conductors. The supported wire gauge range is 4 AWG to 350 kcmil.
What equipment is the JB3175 designed to mount in?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
