Description
Part of the Quicklag family, this 20A single-pole breaker provides branch/feeder arc fault protection for commercial electrical systems. It operates at 120VAC with a 10kA interrupting capacity to help prevent electrical fires. Engineered for a precise fit, the unit bolts securely into Eaton Pow-R-Line panelboards. It features a pigtail neutral connection. Note that this model is replaced by the newer QB1020CAF. The thermal-magnetic trip mechanism is HACR and SWD rated for switching duty.Specifications

This bolt-on breaker is designed exclusively for use in Eaton Pow-R-Line panelboards that accept Quicklag BAB frame breakers.
What type of arc fault protection does the QBAF1020 provide?
The QBAF1020 is a Branch/Feeder type Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI). It is designed to detect parallel arcing faults in branch circuits and feeder wiring.
Is there a newer combination AFCI replacement for the QBAF1020?
Yes. If your local electrical code requires a Combination type AFCI to detect both series and parallel arcs, the direct replacement is the Eaton QB1020CAF.
How is the neutral connection wired on this breaker?
The QBAF1020 features a pigtail neutral wire. This pigtail must be connected directly to the panelboard neutral bus bar to power the internal arc fault detection circuitry.
Can the QBAF1020 be used for switching lighting loads?
Yes, this breaker is SWD (Switching Duty) rated, meaning it is approved for switching 120VAC fluorescent lighting loads on a regular basis.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
