This breaker is designed for use in GE PowerMark Gold and ABB ReliaGear load centers equipped with a Plug-On Neutral (PON) design. It will not install correctly in older panels that lack a plug-on neutral bus.
Does the THQL1120PGFT require a pigtail wire for the neutral connection?
No. The P in the catalog number indicates it is a Plug-On Neutral breaker. It connects directly to the neutral bar in a compatible plug-on neutral load center, eliminating the need to route and terminate a separate pigtail wire.
Can I use this breaker in a standard GE Q-Line panel without a plug-on neutral?
No. If your GE load center does not have a plug-on neutral bus, you must use the pigtail version of this breaker, catalog number THQL1120GFT, instead of the PGFT model.
What level of ground fault protection does this breaker provide?
