How much panel space does this 3-pole breaker require?
The THQL32070 features standard Q-Line spacing of 1 inch per pole. Because it is a 3-pole device, it will occupy 3 inches, or three standard breaker spaces, on your panel busbar.

The standard box lugs on this 70A breaker accept copper conductors ranging from 6 AWG to 1/0 AWG, or aluminum conductors ranging from 4 AWG to 1/0 AWG.
Can I use the THQL32070 to replace a THHQL32070?
You can only use a THQL32070 if your system requires a maximum interrupting rating of 10kAIC. While they share the identical physical frame and plug-on footprint, the THHQL series is rated for a higher 22kAIC. Always verify your required short-circuit rating before downgrading AIC.
Does this breaker feature a common trip mechanism?
Yes. The internal mechanism ensures that if an overload or short circuit is detected by the thermal-magnetic trip unit on any single phase, all three poles will trip simultaneously to safely disconnect the load.
