Engineered for personnel safety, the Siemens BF230A is a 30A, 2-pole ground fault circuit breaker monitoring for dangerous leakage currents. This bolt-on MCCB is designed for Siemens P1, P2, and P3 commercial panelboards. It replaces the older BF230 model, though it has since been superseded by the B230GF. No. The BF230A is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed exclusively for Siemens P1, P2, and P3 commercial panelboards. It will not fit plug-on residential load centers.
What level of ground fault protection does the BF230A provide?
This breaker delivers Class A ground fault protection. It is designed to trip when a leakage current of 5mA is detected, providing necessary personnel protection against electrical shock in wet or damp locations.
How must the neutral pigtail be connected for this 2-pole breaker?
The attached white pigtail wire must be routed and connected directly to the panelboard neutral bus bar. This connection is required to power the internal ground fault circuitry, even if the 240V load being served does not require a neutral conductor.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
