Siemens phased out the Murray brand and replaced the MP250GF with the Siemens QF250A. The QF250A is the UL listed direct replacement for use in Murray load centers.
Can I install the MP250GF in a Siemens load center?
Yes. Because Siemens manufactured Murray products, this breaker is UL listed for use in both Murray and Siemens plug-on load centers.
Is the MP250GF rated for personnel protection or equipment protection?
This breaker provides Class A ground fault protection, meaning it trips at a 5mA threshold. It is designed for personnel protection in wet locations such as pools, spas, and outdoor circuits.
How is the pigtail neutral connected on this GFCI breaker?
The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in the panel. This powers the internal GFCI circuitry, allowing the breaker to monitor for ground faults.
How do I wire a straight 240V load that does not have a neutral wire?
For a strict 240V load without a neutral, connect the two hot wires to the breaker lugs and leave the load neutral lug empty. You must still connect the breaker's white pigtail to the panel neutral bus for the GFCI to function.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
