The Quicklag BAB series is a bolt-on branch breaker designed for Eaton Pow-R-Line commercial panelboards, including the PRL1a, PRL2a, PRL1X, and PRL2X models. It also retrofits into older Westinghouse, Bryant, Cutler-Hammer, and Challenger bolt-on panels.
What is the difference between Eaton BAB and QBHW breakers?
Both are Quicklag bolt-on breakers that fit the same panelboards, but they feature different interrupting capacities. The BAB series offers a standard 10kAIC rating at 240V, while the QBHW series provides a higher 22kAIC rating. Verify your panel's required fault current before substituting.
Is the BAB2100 rated for direct current (DC) systems?
Yes. In addition to its alternating current rating, this breaker is rated for DC applications. It carries a 5kAIC interrupting rating at 24, 48, 62.5, and 80 VDC, making it suitable for certain battery and control panel circuits.
Can I install the BAB2100 in a residential plug-on load center?
No. This breaker features a bolt-on connection and is incompatible with plug-on residential load centers like the Eaton BR or CH series. It must be installed in a commercial panelboard equipped with a bolt-on bus.
How much panel space does the BAB2100 require?
This 2-pole breaker requires two standard 1-inch spaces in your panelboard.
Does the BAB2100 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker that provides essential Long-Time and Instantaneous trip protection against overloads and short circuits. It does not include built-in GFCI or AFCI circuitry.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
